My second birthday

My second birthday

The last 2 years I have started to celebrate my second birthday, 19th of July, the day when I had my brainstroke. I am always scared when this date approaches, just about 4 weeks before I am getting smaller anxiety attacks, over time they have gotten less and less strong but they still come back. My better half of course tries to work around this a little and he makes me less worried but I am still spending a lot of time thinking that I could die anytime now. Naturally speaking I don’t but the fear remains.

One of biggest dreams was always to own a Dodge Challenger, the months before I got my stroke I finally saved enough money to buy myself the car of my dreams, Dodge Challenger, SRT8 in purple. Then the disaster struck and I got my stroke. You might think, ok who cares about the car, you are alive and I am very much happy that I am still running and can do all the things I like. Never the less it was still a dream and that dream just got flushed down the drain. Only few people know about this dream and wish and I always say when i am back to full strength this will definitely be one of the first things I will try to get for myself.

My Dreamcar

My better half disappeared the morning of my birthday saying that he had to go to the city to take care of some business. After a couple of hours he came back into the house and asked me if I can help him unload the car and that he had to park it on the street for some reason. My mood was not very good and I asked my man “WTF did you park the car outside, bring it on the yard”. As we walked down the stairs and i cam around the corner of the house, I broke down in tears. He brought me a big surprise, one of his good friends agreed to borrow his SRT8 Challenger for my birthday. I did not know what I should say, my emotions were overwhelming and I cried and laughed at the same time. It was the first time i was able to put my hands on that car, it so badass. We spent the whole driving around with this car, it was awesome, I loved it so much and I had goosebumps all over when hit the pedal. Definitely I will get one of those someday. I had a wonderful day and we ended it with beautiful Italien restaurant that is sadly closing soon after 15 years of business.
